The Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) is pleased that the Genesee Opportunity (GO) Stipend ballot proposal was passed by voters on August 2. As a result, GISD has been in the process of working through the rules and procedures for implementing this significant, one-of-a-kind program for residents and graduates of a Genesee County high school.
Important! All 2017 graduates who wish to use the GO Stipend must submit the application form.
Once the completed application is received, Genesee Opportunity staff will verify the information provided to determine eligibility for the GO Stipend. Students who have already taken a qualifying assessment for certification at a training institution can call (810) 591-GCGO (4246) to discuss eligibility for reimbursement.

Senior Exit Presentation - Parents Welcome!!
Each semester Linden High School hosts Senior Exit Presentations for our seniors. At the end of your son/daughter's Senior Portfolio class he/she will deliver an exit presentation to the class and a panel of three or four community members. The role of panel members is to evaluate student presentations based on the established criteria and provide constructive feedback, support, and guidance as students make their final preparations for life after high school. Our hope is that parents will sit with their student to preview the presentation and provide their own feedback, support and guidance as well.
Senior Exit Presentations are scheduled for the final week of each semester during your student’s Senior Portfolio Class. We would like to invite all parents to attend your student's Senior Exit Presentation. Please be sure to confirm with your student the exact time and day he/she is schedule to present.
